Cookie Policy

This cookie policy explains what cookies are, which cookies the Home Energy Assessment Scotland website at homeenergyassessmentscotland.co.uk uses, and how you can control them. We keep our use of cookies to a minimum and only use them where they serve a clear purpose.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember information about your visit, such as your preferences. Cookies are widely used across the web and are not harmful in themselves, but we believe in being transparent about the ones we set.

Cookies we use

The Home Energy Assessment Scotland website is a static site and does not require cookies to function. We do not set any advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to build a profile of your browsing behaviour across other websites. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to display correctly or are set by your browser as part of normal operation.

If we add analytics in the future to understand how the site is used and improve it, we will update this policy to describe those cookies and give you the ability to opt out. We will not use cookies to identify you personally without your consent.

Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or to delete existing ones, and the help function in your browser will explain how to do this. Please note that if you disable cookies, some features of websites you visit may not work as intended, although the core content of this site will still be accessible.
